Reason for Selection
Mr. Haibo Li, Head of the Financial Practice at Landing Law Offices, has over fifteen years of legal practice experience, with a strong focus on enforcement and dispute resolution. His interdisciplinary background in both law and finance—holding a Bachelor of Laws from East China University of Political Science and Law, a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from the University of Hertfordshire (UK), and a Global Doctorate in Finance from PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University—provides him with a distinctive advantage in handling large-scale and complex cases.
Mr. Li has advised multiple Fortune Global 500 companies and listed companies, reflecting strong market recognition of his professional capabilities. In a landmark enforcement case involving a leading asset management company, he successfully addressed challenges arising from inter-regional discrepancies in investigative orders and incomplete property registration information by dynamically verifying asset leads and submitting detailed explanatory reports, ultimately securing the seizure of key assets. In an equity transfer enforcement dispute involving an investment center, he strategically embedded an “acceleration upon default” clause at an early stage and, through systematic asset tracing and procedural coordination, ensured the effective realization of creditors’ rights. In an enforcement objection dispute involving a major real estate development company, he leveraged enforcement objection proceedings as a breakthrough point and coordinated discussions with relevant regulatory authorities, ultimately facilitating a court-mediated resolution.
Through precise legal analysis and strong governmental coordination capabilities, Mr. Li consistently achieves a balanced outcome between corporate risk mitigation and social stability. He also places strong emphasis on the integration of theory and practice. His publications, including Practical Guide to Private Equity Fund Operations and Protection of Corporate Control: What Shareholders Should Know, provide valuable theoretical support for the intersection of enforcement and financial law. In addition, Mr. Li serves as the Rotating Chair of the Fudan University Real Estate Finance Alumni Association and as an External Mentor at East China University of Political Science and Law, actively promoting the integration of legal education and legal practice.
With profound professional expertise, extensive hands-on experience, and exceptional coordination skills, Mr. Li safeguards clients’ core commercial interests and bridges the “last mile” of claim realization.
